Car-X Tire & Auto is taking a stand against breast cancer by donating $5 to Race for the Cure for each oil change performed at all Twin City area locations. The donation campaign, which Car-X calls Pink Oil Change, will run through September 8. Following the campaign a check will be presented to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® – Minnesota Affiliate.
“This year thousands of women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the Twin Cities, and we feel obligated to do our part,” said Rich Brayer of Car-X. “We experience everyday how illnesses have an effect on the families we know and see as customers. It’s disheartening, but we have decided to do something about it.”
“We do a lot of oil changes in the Twin Cities, meaning this campaign just makes sense” said Rich Brayer. “With our customers, I know they will want to make a difference and come out to support the Pink Oil Change.”
